I’m very happy to announce that in conjunction with my imminent Texas Tour 2013, my new solo clarinet CD, Mysteries, has just been released! It is now available for digital download HERE.

Here’s the intro I wrote for the Mysteries CD Booklet Liner Notes (complete liner notes are available at the digital download link above).

For the last ten years or so, I’ve toured across the USA and abroad as a solo clarinet recitalist and master clinician. As my solo show has developed and evolved, I’ve commissioned, adapted and developed a repertoire of fresh and accessible solo works for unaccompanied clarinet and clarinet/CD. This CD features some of those works along with some other gems I found in my search for new literature.

Mysteries features music by Andrea Ferrante, Alec WilderAstor Piazzolla, Jeffrey Hoover, Don EllisClaude Debussy, and James Grant.

Mysteries will be available on other digital music vendors (such as iTunes) soon. Also, the physical CD’s will be available the end of next week.

ClarinetMike says, “Hey, check out my new CD!”
