A number of years ago I was listening to a teaching tape as I was driving. The teacher wandered off his subject and gave a fantastic tidbit of advice: Use File Folders to Organize your Life! Ever since, I’ve used manilla folders to organize all things paper – music, notes, handouts, clipped articles, insurance forms, DVR instructions, tax returns, etc., etc., etc.
Someone might say, “Why don’t you just go paperless?” I agree that less paper is great and even preferable at times. In fact, I’ve started to increasingly use Evernote. However, we still live in a paper-clogged world.
So, get some folders and start organizing your music and life!
