Hey! Hope you are staying cool on a hot day in the USA!
As mentioned in a recent blog post, we are moving to the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area this summer. I’ll be starting a new gig as a free-lance clarinet performer, teacher, traveling clinician, etc. [Be sure to check out and “Like” my new Facebook Clarinet Business Page.]
When I made the decision to go free-lance, I also decided to try to upgrade my knowledge and use of computers, technology, and such – especially with respect to being a private lesson teacher.
One of the things I discovered is Music Teacher’s Helper (MTH). MTH is a powerful online program that helps you “manage the business aspects of running a private music teaching studio.”
Check out the below video. (FYI, there are lots of helpful videos that explain how it works.)
I’ve been using MTH for a few weeks now with my summer teaching. And so far, Music Teacher’s Helper ROCKS!!
ClarinetMike says, “Check it out!”
[In the future, I will try to post an update you on how well it works after a semester or two of use. At this point it looks pretty great!]
